Born in Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences I at Waseda University. Based in Tsuge in the Yamato Highlands of Nara, he runs Yusando Co., Ltd. together with his younger brother. The farm shifted to natural cultivation in 2015 and obtained Organic JAS certification in 2018. Continuing to grow tea without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, he handles everything from sencha and hojicha to Japanese black tea and natural-cultivation matcha, delivering it both within Japan and overseas.

Born in Osaka and a graduate of the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences I at Waseda University.
