The Farmhouse
A farmhouse over a hundred years old is Yusando’s base.
Since we rented this house in 2020,
the place where tea is finished and the place where people gather have both grown from here.
What This House Does
Make
Our self-built tea factory stands right next door: close enough to finish harvested leaves the same day.
Welcome
As a teahouse, and as the setting for tours and retreats. On the earthen floor and the tatami, we share tea with visitors.
Live
With family, and with staff and interns from abroad. A place where work and daily life run together.
What Grew From Here
2020 — Renting the farmhouse
Field and daily life connected in one place.
2024 — Farm shop opens
Handing over freshly made tea in person, right by the fields.
2024 — Tea Ceremony Club and Rice Paddy Division founded
Not only making tea, but tasting and sharing it.
2026 — Farmhouse café (planned)
We are preparing a place where you can drop in for a cup.
